GATPOR PS04 ToF photoelectric sensor uses time-of-flight ranging and diffuse reflection. It is designed for highly transparent, irregular, reflective, and other complex targets, solving two key problems in drip chamber detection:
1. Severe beam penetration in highly transparent materials
PS04 does not rely on reflected light intensity to judge presence. It calculates the time difference between emitted and returned light to measure distance precisely. Even when most light passes through the transparent drip chamber, the sensor can capture weak return signals and output stable detection results, making transparent targets detectable like opaque ones.
2. Irregular scattering from cylindrical surfaces
PS04 ToF technology is insensitive to echo angle and scattering pattern. Even when the curved drip chamber surface refracts and scatters light in many directions, only a very small amount of returned light is needed for accurate ranging. Detection remains stable across angles and positions, avoiding false and missed judgments caused by signal fluctuation.
